Preserving the story of the oldest infantry division in the United States, the First Division Museum has dioramas of the group's various activities since its 1917 inception. Audio recordings, photographs and short videos aid in the retelling of these tales, which cover every major war from World War I to the present. The museum is in Cantigny Park, a site once owned by Robert R. McCormick who was a colonel in the division during the first World War; the grounds also have a historical house, gardens and scenic walking paths.
